My name is Mifan Bang, or Johann Grünwald in German.
我叫做米飯胖，Johann Grünwald 是我的西洋名。

I was given birth in Taihoku, Taiwan in a dark night in 1986. I majored in Computer Science in Taihoku Imperial University but finally, right before my graduation, found that I should do something more creative than just a coding laborer, which is also known as a programmer or software engineer. However it is already too late for me to re-roll, so I make some compromise and that’s why I am trying to become a program designer instead of a coding labor as a career – at least I can be a designer.
我於 1986 年出生在たいほく市。我曾就讀於台北帝國大學並且主修資訊工程，在這之前我一直以為我可以成為一名出色的程式工。但是直到我大學將要畢業之前才猛然發現，其實我將來想做的事情應該是更有創造性的大事業。可惜我發現這件事情的時間有點晚，想要砍掉重練早已來不及，只好做點妥協努力成為程式設計師，這樣終究至少還算是個設計師。

Taiwanese is my mother tongue. But as you may know that my homeland has been colonized by many other nations such as the Dutch, Spaniards, Manchurians, Japanese, Chinese, and from the view of Communists, the Americans. So it is not surprising at all to know that I can also read Mandarin, English, Japanese newspaper, and even buy the German news weekly Der Spiegel just for watching photos of German models.
雖然我的母語是福佬台灣語，不過想必你也知道我家從很久以前開始就一直是其他國族的殖民地：從荷蘭人、西班牙人、滿州人、日本人、到中國人，還有如果你是個共產主義者的話，也許還會把美國人也算在裡面。在這樣的歷史背景之下，我會閱讀中文、英文、日文的新聞報章雜誌也就不是這麼令人驚訝的事了。附帶一提，其實我偶爾也會買德文的明鏡週刊，雖然我只是想看裡面漂亮的 model 照片。

I like to hack into programs just like a kid crashing his toy cars or her dolls. Besides, I love to chat with animals. I have a little bro who is a golden retriever as well as a great philosopher on this planet. Talking with him everyday extends my knowledge about the universe which is far beyond human beings’ understanding. I used to play World of Warcraft a lot until I realized that making love is more fun.
我喜歡把別人寫的程式用各種方式弄壞，這其實就像是小孩子總是會把玩具車撞爛或是虐待芭比娃娃一樣，代表我雖做過這麼多草菅人命的事情卻仍孩童心未泯。另外我超喜歡和動物聊天的！我有個和我一樣黃皮膚的弟弟，他不但是一隻黃金獵犬還是一位地表最偉大的哲學家。我每天總是要和他聊東扯西一番，因為他會教導我各種超越人類所能理解範圍的宇宙霹靂無敵真理。喔對了我曾經每天都在打魔獸世界，但最後我發現那一點都不好玩，打砲才是真正 超爽ㄉ～

So my advice’s here: make love, not Warcraft.
因此我人生最大的體悟就是：去打砲，不要打魔獸。
